I'm looking to make a trip down and am wondering what the weather is like in early to mid april round these parts?

Thanks in advance for the help.

It'll be wet, but with a couple sunny days, the rock should be nice. The only problem is that there are few areas to climb in Pawtuckaway that actually gets sun.
Has anyone been so far this month?

april weather? generally the woods in april can be very wet due to rain yet thus far with all the sun we have been getting the only wetness we've been dealing is from the snow thats still on the ground, so pack a trap cause the boulders are dry and i have been out twice since the 1st

I have not gone to Pway yet this month. I was there just hiking around over spring break late last month in March, but there was still A LOT of snow. I have been out a few times this month to Hammond Pond just outside of Boston. I am still in school in the city, but I am heading up to NH to climb for the summer! So if anyone is willing to tag me (a newb) along I would enjoy the company and local knowledge!

I hear there is still a lot of snow in NH, though places like Rumney are dry and climbable with snow on the trails. I haven't been to Pway this year, but I can't imagine the conditions are any different.

Once it warms up, however, bring your spray. We had a wet winter and the bugs will surely be out.
