I don't know of anything in that area, but if you were to start looking to the east to southeast, no more then a hour drive and i bet you will find something. Grab a road map and look for roads with rocks in the names; like rocky top, rocky point, or hill like tunnel hill. Just and idea try it. I know of some rock in licking county but it is on private land. Good luck.

My friends and I hit Hocking State forest every week in the summer. If you go toward Old Mans Cave and get on Big Pine Rd. it will take you to the climbing area. Regester at the parking area and have a great time. The down side is it is the sharpest rock I have ever seen... You will bleed!!! |

There are a couple more spots in Hocking Hills near conkles hollow. follow the signs, when you get to conkles hollow go one turn-in past on the left. head across the street and over the small iron bridge, take the trail to the right. this will lead you to the repelling area. once you make it there you will find all sorts of bouldering and free-climb spots, just keep hiking around.
