OK, so I recently went to post some videos on the internet and I was very displeased with the quality. I think I tried at least 20 different sites before I came across exactly what I had been looking for... A free high-quality video hosting site. You can finally have your cake and eat it too! This honestly is leaps and bounds better quality than any of the other free hosting companies. I challenge you to prove me wrong.

It does take a few more steps to get your video posted, but honestly, once you've done it once or twice you'll find that it's much quicker than uploading large files to a site that's going to re-encode your skillfully shot video till it looks like a complete pile of shit.

It works like this:
1. You edit your video as you usually would (using Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, etc, etc)
2. You resize and encode your video into Flash 8 format (using an encoding program like On2 Technologies Flix Pro, or the program that is provided by Brightcove)
3. You upload the file to Brightcove Studio online.
4. You create a title and choose other options like having thumbnail images and such.
5. Optionally, if you have multiple videos, you can create a playlist of multiple videos that will play consecutively (or as chosen by the viewer) in your player.
6. You choose a player.
7. You embed or link the video wherever you'd like to on the internet (including web pages, MySpace, etc.)

That's it. It's really pretty simple. The video is hosted by Brightcove for free!

Here's a few examples of the quality you can expect:
http://www.brightcove.tv/...mp;channel=537024447
http://www.brightcove.tv/...mp;channel=246167422
http://www.brightcove.tv/...mp;channel=493149024
http://www.brightcove.tv/...mp;channel=769467712
http://www.brightcove.tv/...p;channel=1114216011
http://www.brightcove.tv/...&channel=2621245

It's important to note that some of the videos shown on Brightcove aren't as high of quality as others... This is due to employing poor encoding techniques... It's very important to follow the guidelines recommended by Brightcove to get the best results. I was able to achieve very high quality on my first attempt. I will never again post a video on YouTube, MySpace, or any other crappy site. THIS IS THE HOLY GRAIL OF ONLINE VIDEO POSTING!

so tell me, does it really enlarge certain part of the male body?
Yes it does. Tests done by a respected university prove that the results are real. For only 5 minutes a day, you can get an awesome body, loose fat, enlarge certain part of the male body, last longer, and submit videos online !
it works... it really does...

I actually tried Vimeo and I still had problems with videos that had high-speed action: http://www.vimeo.com/...30171/l:embed_251900

If you'll notice, there's quite a bit of artifacts, including a line along the right side of the player and mixed in with the girls there's a bunch of garbage. I tried uploading it in several formats, but I never got what I wanted. I also noticed that their download/upload speeds were significantly slower than Brightcove. However, I think Vimeo was probably the closest runner up of the many I tried.

Why yes it does Meki! It also automatically sorts and recycles all of your household waste products and takes the cans out to the curb. Some studies suggest it might even cure cancer!

it seems like vimeo is having upload issues. maybe they'll resolve it soon, the staff seems pretty good over there. i liked vimeo mainly because it seemed a little more geared towards filmmaking and less towards self-absorbed teenage webcam rants and Britney upskirts (yukky).

i am currently looking for a good site to dock my vids so thank you for posting this. i've tried a bunch and i like vimeo and blip.tv the best. i hadn't run across Brightcove so i'll check it out.

Make sure you setup a "studio" account and put under a business name. I setup my account about 6mo ago (and never used it till now), so I'm not sure if things are the same... However, I did hear from someone who said that they had a difficult time getting an account.
