I'll need a few bits when I visit in a couple of weeks, but can't find links to any shops online..e.g. for intersport or deportes la trucha.
Are there any bigger shops with weblinks?..or weblinks to these? I want to check what gear they have. In particular I want an Edelrid Eddy without a morgage.
I'm looking for shops that are open a lot (some I've found in spain seem to prefer to be closed), the best prices and biggest choice of gear, and ideally easy parking nearby.
Any help much appreciated!

Hi!

try some of the biggest online shops for spain:

Barrabes> http://www.barrabes.com/barrabes/default.asp

Aresta> http://www.aresta.com/

Viladomat > http://www.viladomat.com/store/index-page.html?idioma=es

what i know about the shops in Malaga is that they doenst sell online, but if you are thinking to going to el chorro, remember that the montain shop on the spot is a bit "expensive".

good luck!

Fugaz! Thanks, but I need a big shop that I can WALK INTO (only LOOK online!); not to buy online.
I didn't find an address for those shops.

According to fugaz there is a decathlon in malaga.

I don't think you'll find an eddy there, but they have, or can order all basic rock climbing equipment. The ones in barcelona stock a variety of ropes and accessory chords, various belay devices, carabiners, quickdraws, ice equipment...

Also reasonably priced clothes, I believe most of my wardrobe comes from there..
