Hi everyone,

Im a climber from Colombia - South America. My wife and i are going to Mt. Charlestone in about a month, and my primary goal is to send my first 14a, any suggestions?, im good in bouldery routes but as one of my fingers in not too good right now, i prefer a stamina one. I would really appreciate it!Wink

Which finger is hurt? Which hand?

Due to the reliance on pockets (monos and small two-fingers) on the harder routes there, even the "stamina" routes may isolate your injured finger.

You'll get better advice once we know which finger(s) you need to avoid using.

Hi,

It is the 4th finger of the right hand (the thumb being the 1st). I dont have much problem on two finger pockets, what im trying to avoid are the crimpers... Thanks for that. Also, i read about Mt. Potosi as well, i donk know wich place is better for sending a 5.14...

I appreciate it!

Let me put some thought to specific route suggestions, but as a rule I can say this:

Potosi is much steeper than Charleston on average, really more of a roof more the majority of the harder routes. As such, it might be the better option if you're looking for stamina routes. The holds will be bigger and the pockets deeper route for route at a given grade.

Charleston will also involve a little more technical footwork, with Potosi routes requiring more hooking, bicycles and such.

I'll post back a route list this evening when I have more time.
