A group of us are going mid March. We're not sure which campground we're staying at yet but in general will our tents and camping gear be safe during the day while we're out climbing? Do any of the campgrounds have lockers? Am I being paranoid? Am I asking too many questions?

Please advise.

It is a safe bet that your gear will be fine. Especially in a busy campground. I'd leavve passports in the trunk of your car etc. but I haven't met anyone that had their tent/gear ripped off.

Just returned from 3 wks down there. It was my second trip and I plan many more. I've stayed at La Posada both times. Have not experienced any reason to be paranoid. Certainly keep money and passport safe just as a prudent matter. Have fun!

Ditto, we typically stay at Homeros, our gear has always been safe. (We stay in the casita.) If you have something particularly valuable, you can give it to Homero and he will hold it until you leave. (I did this years ago with my PC).

A large group of us will be there 3/13-3/25...
