I'm looking for slackline buddies in Chicago. Preferably in the Hyde Park / University of Chicago area. Lots of parks and trees around to set up some lines as soon as the temps go up. If anyone knows of indoor options in that area, that would be great. I'm a barefoot slacker, so right now, definitely no slacking outside for me. I've heard about the climbing halls doing some occasional slacklining, but they're quite far out for me, since I dont have a car.

i'd be down for some slacklining fun this summer if you come up to Lincoln Park/Lakeview area. I don't have one myself, but have been thinking about getting a setup. I'm not expert but like to play around and practice whenever I come across one.

A colleague of mine lives in Lincoln Park, so I will occasionally be setting up around the beach area there over the summer, however, since I live in Hyde Park, any spur of the moment sessions will be down there. In reply to chefamyk, it's the weather that keeps me from slacking outside. it's too wet and cold and snowy. That's why I'm looking for an indoor location until spring really kicks in.
