keep it up here - people still climb there a bunch. There are NO signs that prohibit climbing there, i was just there yesterday and the routes see a good bit of activity still. Poor cave rock.

Yes, this should be updated in the RDB. The climbs shouldn't be removed, because people still should have the right to research the historical side of them, as well as be able to mark them as being done. Signs or no signs this are is no longer open to climbing.

In reply to: Closed. This area is a central sacred site to the Washoe, and after abuse of the area, the FS has closed it. Please be respectful of the sites you climb, people! Climbers cleaned up feces and broken bottles and maintained this site; abuse pppffft!! Some Washoe only wanted Cave Rock for themselves, their sexist views prohibited women from touching Cave Rock. The FS botched the plan and didn't discuss the possibility of sharing the site at different times like Devils Tower. I bet the site is NOW abused without climbers keeping it cleaned up.
