Jacks canyon is a river, I was there last weekend and got snowed on. The Main wall is totally flooded but casino and crackerjack are accessable. I dont know about a guide for the asylum.

I was at there on Saturday 3/29. The dirt road was fine, a little rough from the rain but no problem for low clearance. The weather was great. In the sun it was a little warm and in the shade it was a little cool. There is water in the canyon, but you can access casino cliffs and cracker jack without having to cross water. The main wall is under water.
