The Carlsbad Water District guys who roll by in those white trucks are on the look out. A buddy and I got stopped going in with a pad. They said they were on the lookout for specifically people with those pads (KNEW we should have just topped it) but after a few minutes of chatting him up he drove off, seemed like he had more important things to do. We bouldered around anyway for another hour without incident, but were a little sketched out by the thought of cops rolling up.
