I want to add a few topo images to the database for a few problems in the high life area at Horse Pens 40. Please let me know if I've got these right:

1 - waiting line
2 - 8 ball
3 or 4 - contusion???? What's the other one?
5 - Chasers
6 - short change
7 - brawn

I wouldn't be surprised if some of these are wrong - the dr topo guide doesn't give very specific descriptions. Please correct me!

The V2 on the far right side of the boulder is Circumcision. then from right to left it is waiting line, eight ball, contusion, chasers, short change, and then brawn. There is also a V6 on the boulder that traverses from brawn to circumcision. It is called Melanor.

I realize the "order" of problems - the problem is, there are MORE climbable lines than what you just listed. So the issue becomes figuring out which lines match up with the ones in the guidebook, and which aren't named in it.

I also took some pictures of circumcision - it's missing a hold and probably doesn't go at V2 anymore.

I was just writing what this years sloperfest competition guide book has listed. There will always be more climbable lines...

i would really love to see a guidebook (besides the drtopo one as good as it is) come out for hp40. there are definitely enough problems there to make it worth while. and it should have big color photos and shit like the RRG one =). i would think a guidebook for an area that is all bouldering and as concentrated as hp40 would be more manageable than other areas. just my $0.02
