heat I can deal with (I am from NC) - the real question is will all the blood sucking insects be still going full steam by the end of July, or do they fade before that....

Bugs won't be nearly an issue compared to in June. I'd say go, but it will be hot (for NE).

The blood sucking insects are ALWAYS bad at Pawtuckaway . Lots of wet lands surround the Boulder fields. Hope for a windy conditions. I've got a 15 year old guide book. One of the few left PM me if you want some more beta or some copies.
