I got a series of pics i liked, please let me know what could be better.
besides obviously cropping the tip of my knee...

Henry took about a 24 foot whipper down onto that #6 that you see... nearly tipped out.
being that the last pro behind that was 10 feet below the 6 (an old school 4.5) he was reluctant to bump it past the point where it would tip out. Too bad, if he would have known that it slimmed back down enough to take the 6... had he brought it he could have sent!

I think the colour is okay, but the gradient is kind of weak and I think you could have chosen a better font.

It's hard to say since the exposure value range is so broad; you're really blown out on the left, dark in the crack, and not bad on the right.
If you had had anything to cast some shadow on the left (or conversely to light the crack, which is a better option, but not always practical on the spot) you'd be much more balanced out.
I think it would have also helped if you had moved into the crack a bit more. It cuts the climber just a bit too much for me.
I think the first shot is the best in my opinion. I also think that it should have been framed just a bit lower only because the cam sits a little too close to the image edge for me and I think it's kind of a cool element.

thanks for the feedback.
I too wanted to get closer to the edge of the crack, but i was unroped, my only pro was my leg wedged into the crack, jammed and numb from waiting for Henry to climb into view!
It was just the beginning of dusk when i took this series, so that flare on the left was unavoidable unless i dipped the camera down below the edge of the crack.
The depth of field really does no justice to the size of the #6, it looks like a tiny cam just below him imo, although i have to say, i was probably more scared of the fall than Henry was! it was such a horror show watching him get pumped out and finally when he said " it's over " i thought he was gonna die! hehe

I think kriso9tails suggested that you should shoot more inside the crack to avoid the left overblown part, not closer to the edge of the crack. I agree with him...

ahh! i misunderstood.
at first when i saw the overblown area i was look AWESOME what a bunch of cool colors... but as i see it more and more i am getting the urge to sucker my other friends into climbing it....
