I'm a new trad climber looking to get better/faster at placing pro on routes up to 5.9. Is there enough concentrated trad at Skaha to do this for a week-long trip?

Squamish would be a better destination for that sort of thing.

You might be able to spend an entire week doing only trad in Skaha, but you'd have to run around quite a bit to pick your lines.

yeah, there's enough at skaha, and you'll see a lot of the area.

The Dream
Assholes of August
Double Exposure
Mrs. Palmer
Flying Flowers
Skunked
Jim's Crack
Et-tu Brutus
Industrial Strength
Owl and the pussycat (if you're comfortable up to 10a/b face climbing)

all good but short climbs.. not the same sort of cracks as squamish, but fun nonetheless. A couple will call for double rope rap.

The list above is pretty good.

I was in Skaha a couple of weekends ago. I intended to clip bolts but ended up climbing a lot of cracks. The Great White Wall has a few good 2 pitch (or 1 long pitch) routes including Dryathlon.

On the other side at Morning Glory there's Flying Flowers. The 10a beside Spro Dog takes good gear but is quite strenuous.

Coming from Squamish I found placing gear tricky in Skaha. The crack features are totally different. I guess there are generic skills in placing gear but keep in mind that what works there might not work elsewhere.
