can anyone give some me some feedback on how to enter gear into "my wish list" folder. I've created the folder, but don't see a way to put anything in it, or put anything in my "gear I own" folder for that matter. I've "submitted" all kinds of gear but still my folders say 0 items.

I know this is a stupid thread because I'm guessing I over looked something really simple but for the life of me I can't figure it out. Plus its just a dumb thread. but I really want to know, so I'm willing to catch some flack out here if I can get one good tip. Thanks yall - bring on the pain

Go find the gear you want to add to your wish list and click on the button that says "add to wish list," or "I own this."

Kathy

Thank you Kathy for the response, so apparently if the gear that I own or want is not out there some where, than I can't put it in?

Thanks again Kathy

Yep. Click on "Gear" tab and look up left for the "Submit Item" sub-button. I usually find the item on the manufacturer's website and copy some text to describe the item. It will go to the moderators for review and be posted in a few days.

Gear on my wish list:

New! Metolius Negative Weight Belt!

"New hi-tech advances in materials science have allowed the permanent bonding of ultra-helium to a breathable nylon belt. This ultra-helium, lighter than air, reduces the climber's weight by up to 30 lbs! 5.12, here I come!!!"

I want one! And I want one of those full-body airbags that opens when you hit the ground.

Nice...I'll take the balloon cam that fits cracks from 1/2 inch to 22 inches.

How long after you "submit" something does it take to be accepted/rejected?

It depends on when the moderators come back in from climbing. Wink It can take days. Sometimes few, sometimes many. Don't hold your breath.
