Does anyone know of a place in summersville lake that i can rent a boat without being 25? or a way to get around it? im only 21 and would love to deep water solo in west viginia. or is there anyone who would like to go with us for free 4th of july weekend? thanks in advance.

i've never been there so i am not familar with the lake but how about this: an inflatable boat?

or you could do a search and find that you aren't allowed to DWS @ Summersville anymore....sorry to ruin your plans.

really? i didnt know that. a couple of my friends went down there a couple weeks ago, rented a boat, and deep water soloed for 3 days and no one said anything to them.

I'm not sure how strictly it is being enforced, just that it is a no-no.

thats not entirely true.
cliff jumping is not allowed at summersville. but you can still DWS, really if you jump you just "fell". and besides security has died down, and if anything new river is only 20 miles away.
