hey i was planning on going up to jacks mid next week. the weather said that it is suppost to have isolated t-storms in winslow all week up till wed. does anyone know if jack's will be completely flooded out, if not how long does it usualy take for the rock to dry?

It would take a hell of a lot of rain to flood the canyon. Some springs it doesn't even flood with the snow melt. I wouldn't worry about isolated storms. It might not even rain. If it does, it shouldn't last long and there are plenty of places to hangout and stay dry, and even climb when it is raining. I've never been rained on there but would guess the rock drys pretty quickly if it gets wet.

thanks man. down here in tucson the monsoons have been coming aruond and runing mt lemmon not been able to climb for a while. i was afraid the same thing might be happening up jacks thankfully not. this is my frist time up jacks and recommendation for camping spots and things like that?

The campground is right at the rim. Can't miss it. I'd wager that the only places to climb while it's raining are parts of the Main Wall, and maybe the ridonkulously steep stuff at Swiss Wall.
