I got word that there was a meeting tonight at the gym about access issues at Chenal Mountain in Little Rock. The email I got said the meeting was at 6p and I showed up 30 minutes late :( but Logan told me I was actually an hour early :( :( Beth and I were already crammed for time this evening so that didn't go over well. So we didn't hang around for the meeting. Anyways....anyone know what was said and whats the problem? Thanks, Bryan

I was told by a friend that when he recently (in the last week or so) went to Chenal there are now NO TRESPESSING signs and lots of purple paint (Arkanistan's symbol for no tresspassing). Anyone know anything about this? Bryan

No news. Right now, the local climbing community is taking a "don't ask, don't tell" position. I go there pretty regularly with no hassles. PM me if you want more details.

Here is the official word on that purple paint: http://www.fri.sfasu.edu/pages/resources/landownbriefs/html/posted.html ----- If someone wants to contact me we could attempt to petition the land owner for access. It could be possible to offer a mandatory LNT class to be receive access?
