My girlfriend Anja Presson, who was raised outside Burlington in Jericho, are headed to Burlington to see her family the 24th to Aug 4th. We are looking to climb while there and will have a full trad rack. I've been researching places like The Gunks, The Dacks, Cathedral Ledge and Rumney however she would like to stay more local to spend more time with her family as well the weather is not looking that great the next ten days so I'd prefer not to drive a long way only to get rained out. I love long trad routes (10a or less) and she loves steep overhanging sport routes (11a or less). I was wondering if anyone could share some local spots not in guides and/or local conditions. She has climbed at Bolton and we were thinking of visiting there but even that might have a Peregrine closure? We are always up for climbing with new people too.
Also if you have any advice about spots to mountain bike we are always up for some cross training.
