Hello, ladies!
I'm not sure if anyone would know, but...
Is there any area around San Francisco, with some really easy sport climbs?
I want to introduce a friend to lead climbing, and he really wants to try it outdoors...
Anyone? :)

How far are you willing to drive?
Castle Rock SP has a couple 5.8 bolt ups, most of them are in different sections of the park.
Pinnacles NM has many many climbs in the 5.0-5.10 range.

There's also Mt Diablo State park (Boy Scout Rocks), near Walnut Creek. It's about 30 minutes east of SF. Most climbing is top-roping, but there are a few bolted sports routes in the 5.8-5.11 range. More info here: http://www.rockclimbing.com/...isco_Bay/Mt__Diablo/
