Went to see Death Race today. It is a pretty good movie. It is like non-stop action. Some are the cars are crazy and there are some pretty sweet weapons. Some cool fist fight scenes surrounded by action packed racing. If you like crazy car racing, this movie is for you.

I think it is one of the better spoof movies but still reckon it is a cable TV product and not worth seeing on the big screen. A couple of belly laughs and not much more.

what you mean "wtf"? Indiana movies always finish with some mega super-natural stuff. Chalice healz Sean Connery, arc kills everyone etc.etc. I thought it was fucking awesome. One of my favourite parts is when the kid from transformers is about to try the indiana hat on and everyone in the cinema went "nooo" "fuck off" or "arrg!" then paps yoinks it straight out of his hands. Best way to say "don't worry- we're not going to kill the series by making more about this kid".

Pinapple Express was decent. Guess it depends on how toasted one is. The long haired guy was WAY better than the fat bastard. Its definitely no Superbad tho.

I finally got around to seeing Debbie Does Dallas the other day. I really didn't find it "motivating" at all. Far too much dialog... and bush.

No Country for Old Men ...aright...it stays true to the book until the end. Liked the book better...the killer was not the actor I would have invisioned...other than that...worth the rental... MaD

Maybe I jsut don't remember the old ones that well but i feel like the action had more reality to it in the old movies. Just my opinion though.

Haha, like when Indiana get's burnzed on the feet and starts shouting "water! water!" then sees the giant wave of flood coming down the tunnel and shouts "WATTER!!! WATTTTEEEERRRR!!!!!" ? Or when his dad squirts the dude with the ink from the pen and sez "bwaha! the pen IS mightery then the sword!" ? I thought it was a good movie. You just remember the other ones as better cuz you wuz younger.

aaargh, i'm with the diseased rabbit on this one - for some reason the aliens just didn't work for me. holy relics, jesus cups, weird burning hearts (!?) seem like indy's domain, but aliens just wasn't right. no particularly rational reason, but if it had been aztec god botherers that would have been fine. quite enjoyed no country for old men - must read the book. rather enjoyed juno, for several reasons: lars and the real girl was unexpectedly good. oddly compelling. mongol was a good find. swords, battles, bloodshed. anyone seen [rec]? missed it at a film fest last month, but would have shat myself in any case so i much prefer watching horrors at home when i can cower behind the cat. speaking of which, the orphanage was reasonably good. descent was pretty amusing as well, though slightly moronic. i really want to see this again, however, as i want to try spotting the bad dudes hiding the in shadows in the early scenes. steve

Ahh, your probably right Rose. OK, embarrassed as I am, The Other Bolyn Girl was pretty good, but if your into that kind of thing I think the book would be much more interesting. Anyone seen Kite Runner? I'm wondering if it stands up to the book.

Anyone else seen Hancock? I thought it was good. stupid (like, nn use your brain) but good.
