I last climbed at Tieton about 4 years ago and stayed at one of the free established camping areas by a river up a steep road. Can anyone give me some beta on where to find that camping or something similar, free camping, for Tieton?
Thanks
Bob

I remember going to that same road......... a couple years ago.

Was that helpful, not at all. What I do remember is that there were a couple of paid campground roads, and we just drove past one, and ended up next to the tieton river (probably where you did)...........

If you didn't already know there is a tieton climbing guide out there, it might say, also I remember up wildcat road there would be plenty of spots to camp for free. If you are hardcore enough to climb wildcat wal, then you'll be closer.
