Hello, I'm a 22m from upper Michigan. I will be traveling to australia at the end of march/beginning of april for 6/7 weeks. I will be flying into sydney and then working my way across to perth where I'm then headed to Thailand. While in australia I was hoping to hook up with some people and get some climbing in and maybe find a place to rest my head/show me the sites. I comfortable on sport or trad and climb in the mid ll's (yds). Thanks for your time.

You gotta go to Arapiles and the Grampians. Feel free to gimme a P.M. and I can tee something up on a weekend. I live in Melbourne but regularly travel to out to Araps, and the Gramps with my b'friend. If you need a ride, and wanna climb, we'll be up for it. We usually head out in a small group, so you'll get to experience Aussie climbing culture at it's finest! If you're gonna be out at Araps on your own for any length of time (a week or whatever) There's bouldering, and it shouldn't be too hard to find other tourists and locals to climb with. Cheers. Elk
