Pink climbing shoes?

Anyone know who might make some pink climbing shoes? The Elektra might work in a pinch, but it's more purplish I think.

I did see the Boreal Luna link in the gear post, but it's 2:30am and I'm either to tired to find it for sale online or it's not available anymore.

Is there anyone who bought a pair of off-white shoes and then colored them in with a marker or something? At that point, I'll probably just settle for the purple as a gift though...

Thanks for the help!

Weird.....but anywho, the Anasazi Laceups are a sort of pink, but probobly not what you're looking for.

The best purple or the purple shoes I've seens are the Evolv Elektra, which actually look like a nice pair of shoes too.

I don't think most climber girls would actually get off on getting pink (girly pink) shoes though.

Just Google "Boreal Luna" and you'll find a couple places that sell them, including Rock and Snow where I bought mine. They're new this year, and it looks like not a lot of shops decided to sell them. Be careful with sizing. My women's size 8.5-9 feet fit just dandy in a UK 5.5.

I agree, most climber girls probably don't like pink. My climber girl however, loves it. So...I try to accommodate.

Thanks for all the responses.

Does she just want pink? Or does she want cute? The Evolv Elektra is pretty damn cute and performs well too. The new Five Ten Anasazi LV (Low Volume/women's) is white and purple and would be another higher performance shoe. The La Sportiva Lady Katana is powder blue, and another high end shoe. I don't know much about that Boreal shoe. If you are looking for less performance and more of a dinking around in the gym shoe, the Five Ten Prima and the Prima Lace Up are good choices, and both can be found online REALLY cheap. I know the Prima exists in pink, but it is hard to find these days. I have the Prima Lace Up in the peach color, which is a pinkish orange, and the Prima in blue as gym shoes and get lots of compliments on them, even from guys.

She wants color over performance? Is she a climber?

Its long since left the market, but it was called the Generator. It was sick! High tops, incredibly stiff, perfect for whenever you had to invert, bust a heel-toe jam, rock up into a fist stack and try not to puke!

That's a pretty common thing among girlfriends in outdoor sports. If I had a dollar for every time I watched a girl buy snowboard boots that are a size too big because "they match my jacket!!!", I would have about 25 dollars. To each their own.

I'm thinking about getting the domina's instead, its a stiffer boot which will better compliment my 60/40 split of frontcountry/backcountry, and they are DIN compatible, so i can use them on my alpine skiis, whereas the Divas are not.

I don't have a chance to try them on though, would i be the same size you think?

Mare, whichever I get, they are either matte white/blue or girly blue. The skis are manly orange and red. yuck.

I hate the gross girly color choices in skis and ski boots. Can I just have black, please?!! My boots are silver with light blue buckles. They fit, so oh well.

I know the one you are talking about, and it wasn't a high-top, but I can't remember the name. That's what happens when you get old..... Outdoor Gear Exchange had some left a while ago, but they're gone now. (I tried to cheat and look up the name.)

in the same vein, i'm gonna be pissed if in a few years, i do not have the choice of replacing my down jacket with one that does not have fucking flowers or butterflies on it. it's like, dude... i'm gonna camp in that shit, and it's gonna get dirty. and forest green et al is a whole lot less yucky looking when it's really dirty than purple paisley.

There are really soft. Fun for slushy days and butters, and they are an excellent conversation starter in the lift line.
