Washington, DC rock climber (that's me) will be in LA at a professional conference later this week. Have Friday (Nov 7) free. Would love to hook up with a partner for the day. I do not know the rocks of the area; would be happy to climb anywhere within a couple of hours of LA. I climb in the 5.10 range; lead trad or sport. I don't plan to bring my gear, just shoes, harness, and helmet, so will depend on finding a partner with the rest. (Or, if I get info on an area where one can just show up and be likely to find a partner, I might take a chance on that.) I will have a rental car, so could provide transport.
