We were asked to move our car from the parking lot at Sand Rock this past Friday (after Thanksgiving), so that Life Flight could land to assist a fallen climber.
Later, after they left, we learned that someone had fallen on the approach above Sun Wall. The story has it that the person was stepping across a divide to get to the top of a route to set a toprope.
The person misstepped and slid into the gap, getting pinned and having difficulty breathing.
Does anyone have any more information? I don't put a lot of stock in by-stander accounts of what a local police officer said about a "climbing related" accident.
