I have been climbing on them for 3 years now and I love them. It is a great waterfall tool. Is is ok for alpine, but the rupper on the botttom of the handle wears away from plunging it. The Axars make a better alpine tool. But if you are looking for a steep ice tool, then the Quasar is great.

I climb on them. They are great, but heavy. the quarks are a really nice improvement. I took the head weight off, and I get better sticks for some reason. I do miss the head weight for mixed though. If you can get them for less than 200 a pair, grab em!
