Winter may still be a few weeks away officially, but it has ruled the day for several weeks already here in the North Country. I had hoped to end the 2008 climbing recap with my first ice climbing trip, but injuries and time constraints have made that unlikely to happen soon. So I used the downtime to get it up and posted.
Most of this concerns Crane Mountain, of course; my home turf. But there's a fair amount of other places in the Adks and a bit on the Gunks, too.
