I'm moving to Truckee for the winter, looking for bouldering partners, indoor walls, and potential living arrangements from January through March. I'm moving down from Bend/Portland to coach at Northstar for the Burton Academy. Anybody bouldering through the winter?

I hear that you can boulder in Tahoe year round at a few locations. You should check out the SuperTopo Guide.( as well as the guy on the other thread).

This is true, you can boulder year round, but you have to drive for it. South lake has the pie shop. Bishop (3-4 hours south) is...well it's Bishop.

You could google Vision bouldering also. Then of course, there is truckee itself, with a bunch of stuff on Donner summit, although you might not want to do anything there until the snow melts.
