This area is not worth going to in my opinion unless you live nearby or are in the area. There's a handful of bolted routes, most are around 30 ft tall. The best looking stuff is probably the boulder routes. All bolted routes are in the shade so it might make a nice summer destination. I'm going to be at Wisp Resort this weekend and my bf and I are looking to climb outside for the first time, top roping. We've been climbing inside for a bit now. How can I find out information about the individual climbs at fork run? Also, any information on how to start out top roping for the first time?

My fiancé and I were in Deep Creek for a weekend vacation and checked out the climbing. It's probably not exciting/interesting for seasoned outdoor climbers. But for outdoor noobs, who've spent all their time indoor so far, like me, it's a good starting point. A nice, but low, range of difficulty. Plenty of bolts up top to top rope from, and a decent number to sport climb.
