I'm wondering if anyone has heard of break in problems in the Alabama and Georgia crags. Specifically places like rocktown, lost wall, jamestown, sand rock, HP 40, Moss Rock...

I'm heading out that way and just wondering if it is the kind of place that you never leave anything in the car or if you can relax and not be too worried about break ins.

HP40 is safe if the owner ever caught anyone stealing on his property, he'd probably shoot them then stab them in the eye with his bowie knife. I haven't heard anything bad about the other places, I know the locals can be a little crazy in sandrock, but I haven't heard much about any of the other areas. If you took the normal precautions you should be fine.

I have been to lost wall a few times and have never had a problem with theft. Jamestown should be fine i've heard no problems. Sand rock is generally good just a bunch of inbred redneck drunks everywhere.
