Dearest Jay,
I heart rc.com most of the time. Frequently, though, I like to search for a certain contemporary word or phrase but end up with posts from the mid-seventies at the top of my list. Four pages later I find a post from this century. A "Sort By:" function would be real swell, and I think many people would be very appreciative of it.

Yeah, I know... I've just put in my request for the last thing before, hopefully, I can begin to tackle the search function.
In the meantime, type something unintelligible, like "uinrcv;njvcak" into the search bar. You obviously won't get any results, but you will get to an advanced search, which you can use to sort a bit more effectively.
