I'm going up to Sanstone this weekend (leaving from Des Moines, IA) to ice climb and have an empty car! Pitch in for gas or bring me a sandwich and we'll call it good! I have a little business to take care of in Mpls on Friday, so here's the plan: Thurs night; depart DSM Fri: business taking-care-of/brickyards ice? Fri night: leave for sandstone and camp Sat: climb dawn till dusk Sat night: return email is stim0025@umn.edu if you're down!

Do you mean "MN Sandstone"? Not much further (hour) in Duluth is Casket Quarry. If you are into drytooling it is well worth checking out. There are also some ice routes but it probably wouldn't be worth the extra drive for those. Most of the routes are listed on Mt. Project. You may know that there is a listing for Sandstone there too.
