when you go to write a post, above the box that you are typing in, to the right of the menu after "post style" and under the subject box is a link called "get markup help". click on it- it'll make all the code you need very easy to understand/find. hell, cause i'm such a nice guy, here's the link: Get Markup Help

Besides all that "get markup help" stuff, just take a look at the buttons below the post field - in particular the one that says URL. Click url, paste the url into the post, click url again. You can do the same with a url for an image, with the "image" button.

For an image to show up in-line in the post rather than as an attachment, you need the url of the actual jpg or png image file - meaning it has to be on a web server somewhere - in between the image tags.

Nope. You're still trying to use the Facebook reference of the image: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=1165889&l=87b2c&id=743627437 What you need is the url of the actual image file. So in your post here it would look something like: {image}http://some-web-server/cool-maple-photo.jpg{/image} But with square brackets [ ] instead of the curly braces {}. If you right click on one of your Facebook photos, then click on "Properties" you'll see the actual location is: http://photos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak-snc1/v1940/80/76/743627437/n743627437_1165889_1375.jpg That's the url you need between the image tags. It also appears that you have your first tag as {.image} instead of {image} (Again, you'll need to use the square brackets. The "image" button makes this easy.
