Fellow climbers, I was at Williamson yesterday and when I hiked back up to my truck I found a bag full of garbage thrown in the back of my truck. I had noticed this bag under a white truck when I went down to climb so I send this warning, whoever the f--- you are you f---ing cowards, if I ever see you again expect to go home with non-climbing related injuries! That is disrespectful and I will not tolerate that shit! I thought about chucking the trash out but I will not spread the negativity into nature's fragile environment. If whoever did that s--- happens to be parking in an area to climb and you see my truck(silver Tacoma with Tool stickers all over) you should immediately head back because I'm just dying to f--- you up. f---ing ticks...

Beethovenboy, I guess you're just venting? I doubt that it was a climber who threw trash in your truck. -Jay

Yeah, I need to learn to control my impulsivity, sorry guys. Anyways, the climbing was actually very fun and I got my first 5.8 lead climb. Spiral out...

Hey beethovenboy, I was up there all day yesterday too (it wasn't me, I drive a black Saturn). Where abouts were you climbing at? I was practicing some leads on voices wall in the am then moved on down to stream wall in the afternoon. Was along the tall 5.9's in the mid-section, where abouts were you? Don't let some a*hole's behavior get you all upset though. Karma is one thing that always comes around and goes around. If it was a fellow climber who did that I'm sure karma will take him on a nice tumble.

See you had fun climbing anyway, now when are you going again? Try to set up a secret video camera under a box, then quickly take it afterwards to the police, and you'll find the culprits from before. But be discreet and set up a clever disguise, for yourself and the car-new paint job and mustache may work. Tape player too. LOL-just kidding

The discretion of a man makes him slow to anger. And it is to his glory to overlook an offense.

I was downstream climbing Butterfingers and the other climbs to the left of it and then I hit Mushroom Boulder, that was really fun! I know one should be slow to anger, quick to discern but have you ever heard of being righteously indignant? If everybody were to overlook every offense then the wicked would go away unpunished. Anyways, I'm calm now so no need for me to get all worked up over that again. Spiral out...

He who guard his mouth and his tongue keeps himself from calamity...glad you're calmed down. At least they didn't chuck it in the woods.

dig_scott good advice! I once found ten bags of trash tossed out in the desert by one of my favorite Mtn. Bike trails. I found numerous letters with the address on them. I loaded up all the trash in my girlfriends truck and went and "returned" it. Turns out, the people had hired somebody to take it to the dump, and hadn't a clue that is was just thrown out in the desert. Anyway dude, be glad they put it in your truck and didn't just chuck it. You can find a dumpster at the brew store. [ This Message was edited by: micronut on 2002-11-24 20:38 ]
