The timing isn't what I wanted, but I'm visiting in February. Does anyone climb there in February? If not, any decent bouldering?

Yes, people climb there in February. February may be the best month at Smith for hammering out really hard climbs as that seems to be the month when most of the travelers show up to tick the >5.13- routes.
That said, it is still freakin' cold there in February. We were over there this weekend and it snowed big time on us (a rare occurrence).
The trick is to wait a little later in the day to go out, climb in the sun, and dress warmly, especially the belayer.
Smith has some bouldering, but frankly, it is not a destination bouldering area.
