I was going to check for you but i can't find the keys to my DeLorean... From my experience, there isn't a high probability of snow. I would expect there to be rain, cold nights, and the occasional perfect day in mid March. How far is your drive to the Red?

Nights can get a little chilly but days are generally good climbing weather (though you may consider a packet of hot-hands for the chalkbag and your down booties for the belay). Go for at least 5 days and you won't regret it. Have fun!

The weather channel says the average temps for march are 57 high and 31 low. I usually figure it can go 15 degrees either way from that even though it could be right about at the average. That would be possible 15 at night and 42 - 72 in the day. If you just look at the average that doesn't leave much possibility of snow. I'd check actual weather and forcast close to the time and decide. I have also learnt the weather folks don't know crap. Don't cancel a trip because of weather cause they are usually wrong.

I think the best indication about RRG weather in March is the fact that Miguel's opens the first week/weekend in March.

this doesnt have much to do with snow still being on the ground.... but if meteorologists predicted there would be no precipitation every day, they'd be right about 80% of the time
