Harness?

My harness is starting to look a little worn, and I have a 3 person trip coming up for lots of multiple pitch and mine is not very comfy when hanging...

There was a lady at the gym that had this awesome harness on, and I was wondering if any of you can identify it. It was a woman's aid harness, high waist, lots of cushion, two belay loops, leg loops that detached for her urinary needs, lots of gear loops, haul loop, all the while really not looking bulky to hinder movement. I thought it was a petzl, but I seemed to be wrong.

I read previous thread regarding harness, but misty mountain's harnesses do not seem to detach for peeing (which I really want).

Thanks!

My Caddy has droppable leg loops. I also heard the new ones won't have the problem with stacked gear loops on the small sizes. There's a thread on it around here somewhere.

Edit: Checked Misty's website - their other harnesses do as well.

my misty harness, size xs has zero overlap on the gear loops. their wall harnesses have recieved nothing but praise from my friends that own them, and i've done up to 9 pitches in my misty sport harness with minimal discomfort.

i hear the cadillac is super comfy.

I wear the Cadillac, and believe you me, there is a reason why it's called that.

The stacked gear loops are only a problem with the smaller 6 gear loop models, not the 4-loop models. According to the post I read, if you order from Misty and request the new style, you can get a Caddy without the overlap issue. My guess is there may be old stock at retail outlets, so buyer beware.

I hung around in a bunch of different harnesses, and the Caddy was the only thing I tried that I'd be willing to do a hanging belay in (did not try big wall models). If I were to do it again, I'd call up Misty to see if I could get a custom version with a small swami and medium leg loops for my big biker thighs. I just wish it had ice clipper slots.

My primary harness for quite awhile now has been the BD Chaos. I use it for long routes (including Red Rocks, NV), alpine rock routes, and what seems like a gazillion hours hanging around cleaning new routes.

I find the Chaos to be pretty comfy on hanging belays, however when we went after Prince of Darkness a butt bag was totally the ticket for the enduro belays.

I also have a Cadillac harness, and it is truly the comfy meister. For some reason the Chaos seems to fit me better and seems less restrictive, so I climb with it more often than the Cadillac.

I recommend trying a few on and hanging from them, if you have that option.
