Greetings climbers!
I went out to El Cajon Mountain with some friends this last weekend. We got back around 6:26pm to find one of our vehicles window broken into. My friend’s purse was stolen along with her wallet. Her driver’s license, credit cards, & some cash were all missing.
If you have any info concerning a vehicle break-in on the 24th, please reply to this post! Thank you!!
I have been hiking & climbing in that area for 7 years now & had no problems. Please leave your valuables at home or bring them up with you! If someone can get away with camping at the trailhead, & there’s no cell phone signal, anything can happen. Be safe & careful out there! Peace out!!
P.S.: Does anyone know how we can get some signs (Do not leave valuables in your vehicle!) out there?
