Okay, just another list/opinion/trivia thing.

I have noticed that there are top female contenders in nearly every type of climbing. Lynn Hill and Beth Rodden in trad and sport; Abbi Watkins in Ice; Lisa Rands in bouldering.

Who is it for aid? You never hear about females doing hard aid. I mean, I know abouit Lynn Hill and Mari Gingery doing the Shield way back when, and Steph Davis has done some crazy stuff too, but could you even speculate about the foremost female aid climber?

Who?

Hmmm...I read something about Silvia Vidal, a Spanish woman. Done plenty of A5 routes, like the Reticent Wall, Wyoming Sheep Ranch, and Sea of Dreams (all on El Cap), a route in Pakistan on Amin Brakk that's an 5400-foot VI 5.11 A5 affair, stuff on Baffin, Mali, etc. What's really impressive is that she's 5'2" and 101 pounts. You'd think the pigs are as heavy as she is.

Edit: Got some more info (added into original post). Climbing, No 216.
