bustloose wrote: why in the world would you pick alexander keiths? either you're an IPA fan, in which case, you wouldn't be buying Keith's, or you asked somebody "hey, what's good here?" and they got scared and said "Keith's!!" i suggest doing some homework and finding a really good Ontario micro brew to enjoy before you have to come back to the U.S. of Pabst Blue Ribbon. oh, and always travel in the suit. dress shoes in your carry on. I really don't like IPAs so I'm not one to really judge. Keith's Red is okay, I'd stick with Rickard's, but Nathan actually prefers the Keith's. Pick up some Sleeman, maybe the honey brown. You'll certainly find better micro brews out there, but Sleeman's isn't bad for larger beer brand.

Which (as I'm being told by Wikipedia) is owned by Sapporo. Yep, most of the industry is owned by 3 or 4 mega-companies. Sleeman Brick Wellington Steam Whistle Creemore (although owned by Molson) Mill Street all have decent products that are readily available, unlike some of the smaller (but good) breweries.

ahh Maudite. scary beer. Fin du Monde is made by the same folks yes? I seem to recall a brewpub in Tdot called "Cest What", but i do not recall if they brewed their own beer there.

For a while they had a beer called Le Terrible that was 11%. That stuff had some kick. My other favourite brewery is Phillips. Their names and labels are hilarious (Surly Blonde, Amnesiac, Dirty Squirrel). http://phillipsbeer.com/gallery/ This one is delicious as well

i see you are a beer afficiando! Hafilax, i've had that apricot beer, it's fantastic. The brew pub in Squamish makes absolutely brilliant beers, oh how i miss the Rail Ale, and the Oatmeal Stout...
