Dear Birdsboro climbers, Please watch this space. We are hoping to host a Spring 09 clean up at Birdsboro sometime during the next 4-6 weeks. Will update with a date soon. It would be great if you could come out to help maintain SE PA's only legally accessible sport climbing.
Winter Projects (From Ted Coffelt):
"We've been putting routes up all winter. There is a NEW wall in the West end of the quarry that Chris has done with 4 nice climbs. Sean & Ted have been putting up more lines on the Sun Wall - we're up to 13 lines over there with 3 more on the project list before we go over to the Roof Routes next to the water".
Other News
1) We hope to get a porta potty at the crag for the 09 climbing season. Keep your fingers crossed as we negotiate with some corporate sponsors over the next few weeks.
2) Please consider donating your time or some funds to help maintain Birdsboro. PM me for details about donations.
3) We will host another Climb and Clean in the fall, watch this space for dates. (We will have a rain date this year!)
4) Please be respectful of the Haines and Kibblehouse "No Trespassing" signs. All creek crossings should be via the double cables. Please stay off H&K land.
