I went out to Dixon Gap 3/9/09 for the first time in about 10 years. Hiked around all over the place and didn't see anyone, but saw a lot of trash, two sleeping bags and pillows on top of one of the cliffs, and a bouldering pad.
If you left your bouldering pad and trash strewn about the area, please contact me with a description and the epic story of why you left your gear and trash at Dixon Gap.
Dixon Gap = the new area that Crowders Mtn State Park took over some years ago, just put in a new parking area/trail/ CCC put up a kiosk...but are still awaiting official opening of the new parking!
