Hey folks, here's a heads up for those of you planning to be in Red Rock for the rendezvous (or really, anytime during 2009)
Due to construction of our new multi-million dollar visitor center, the parking lot at the entrance of the loop road (the one BEFORE the toll booths) has been closed and will remain so for the rest of 2009.
Alternate Parking Areas:
The exit of the loop road has had its parking expanded by quite a bit and is probably the best place.
Any of the turnouts between First Creek and the loop exit.
The Albertsons just before the end of town (Desert Foothills & Charleston) is also popular.

it affects those who meet at the entrance of the loop road to carpool to their destination, not any area in particular.

Thank god, I thought It might be this weekend, in which case I would have to cancel my plans and go somewhere else.
