Question about Arizona Climbing guide book. Is the Falcon Guide: Rock Climbing Arizona the only guide out there or is there another one to look for? I need to buy one, would like your opinions first. Thanks, Leslie

That guide will give you a genral overview of arizona with nothin to detailed. It will leave out areas that are not ofter climbed but still gerat places though. It is a good book to have in general and is the only one for all of AZ. I don't use it too much I like to buy the guide book made for the place which will have all the climbs and most likely not be in the main AZ book. Or just wing it if you feel confident in going without a guide...knowing you might get on something above your level which I think is a good thing cause you usually end up climbing harder without the guide in the first place. Hope this helps. Eric

To my AZ climbing pals: I'm outta here. Moving back to Colorado in a couple weeks. November 13th, actually. It'd be great to get another chance to climb with everyone one more time, but I don't think that's possible... timing, logistics of moving, throwing in a few days of work here and there, and so forth. Thus, if anyone wants to get together for a beer, I'll be meeting some other friends at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Gilbert, at the corner of McQueen and Eliot, this Saturday (Nov 1) around 7pm. I reckon we'll be on the patio, but not certain. If y'all wanna come have a beer and some wings and share lies about peaks bagged and projects sent, please feel welcome. And y'all keep in touch, too. Holler if you make it up Denver-way. We'll climb. Always, -- Jeff/Reno

Hi all, I'm visiting my bro-in-law in Sedona from 5/4/09 - 18/4/09. I'm from the UK & don't know the area at all, except that there seems to be tons of climbing there, from what I can gather from the forum. Any chance of meeting up with some folks to climb? I'm easy - happy to boulder or do trad and/or sport routes. Hope to see you all!

Will be arriving Tucson Tuesday the 7th, still looking for midweek partners. Just want to have fun, nothing heavy. I've been climbing in Tucson since 1981, and it's always fantastic. Hope to get out some. All's well that ends well. Doyle PS: I had so much fun, and now it's 36 & fog in PA. Maybe I'll move back to Tucson. April is very nice there.

Hey guys, I just moved to Tempe from Ohio, and know essentially nobody here. I bouldered a lot in college, but I've been out of the game for over a year. I'm just looking for a few people to boulder with. My work schedule is kind of chaotic, so my availability is kind of random. But I'm looking to get out and climb as much as possible. Please email or call/text me if you're interested in meeting up. Thanks, Joe email: joesainato@gmail.com cell: 330.592.5962
