I've climbed many many times at allamuchy but never actually gone up the top of the main wall (always took the trail from the pullou and scrambled up the right side), I was told it's like 5th class easy stuff, anyone know if it's rated? is there pro to be had if i was to take someone who wanted an easy practice or fist time lead? edited for typos

the middle of the main wall is about 5.10 but the inside corner there's a crack that's about 5.7. The climb on the inside corner is a good first lead, the crux (just under the boulder) is a bit interesting when leading it. um gear wise a set of nuts, pink-brown tricam, and the BD cams from .75- 2 is is solid.

Thanks, I've actually done the corner, just not ventured above it all the way to the top, if that makes sense, but I was out there recently so checked it out, thanks:)

yea you can set up a good top rope over the corner with the tree up top and for setting an anchor for the middle of the face use BD cams .75-3 in a vertical rack about 15 feet left of the tree with the rectangular bolder next to it
