Pfffft. Couldn't have said it better myself. I will offer a case of beer(your choice) to the mod who can permanently pin this thread to Majids profile.

The machinery is without Ego like the warrior of Arno. He climbs not for money or girls, but just to be at one with the conveniently shaped concrete blocks. He has sipped deeply of the WD40 and has seen many things. Those who drink Corona see only ghoulish accident reports, media verbiage of hikers portrayed as climbers and autolock belay devices advertised in the daily montana recorder

That aside: i really would like to know hwo they controled it, and how they got it down. I guess the downclimb was whay harder. qwert

The knot in major_sorbet's panties is one of the few consistently awe-inspiring things around here. Stick around long enough and you'll come over to the dark side, as well.

No doubt there are some ridiculously talented operators. I did heavy excavation work in the summers back in college and even ran excavators some of the time, and you see some of those old timers handle that equipment like surgeons. Regardless, I really doubt that it is not computer controlled.

I'm sorry but that DOES have to do with rock climbing and is not in the spirit of this thread. We need to get more robots climbing buildings in here. Majid I used to feel bad for you with all the people that pick on you here, but now...

Majid I used to feel bad for you with all the people that pick on you here, but now... Now, I understand you're objection, but was not the "building" that the excavator was climbing made of some form of rock? Perhaps it was crushed and reconstituted, but seems to be fair game for some wood products. So, I submit that the distinction you are making is arbitrarily narrow. I feel donkeys, dogs, excavators, and probably other yet unnamed self-propelled objects should be fair for this thread.

I don't know for sure, but there's nothing like spreading rumor.
