Finally booked a ticket to Thailand. Know it is not the best time to go but is the time I have to go. Will be in in Krabi, Phuket area the last two weeks of May. Anyone headed that way?? If you have been there before what do you suggest bringing? Can I buy a rope there?

Better to bring a rope, its much cheaper from US, you'll need a 60m, and about 15 quickdraws will be good. Some stellar routes you can do with this no. Brings slings and tape, good to have some cos some routes are on old tape and you may want to do your part is securing any anchors you dont feel comfortable with. A couple of locking biners and spare belay device and you should be good.

The weather will be fine, u'll get plenty of climbing in, infact i'll be there is a couple of weeks myself
