In that same strain: I'll be going from S.Ontario. I know that most Canadian's have the Sat-Sun-Mon off (Victoria Day long weekend). I'll be stay those three days plus Friday and have room in my car.

J_ung talked me into it over the weekend, so I'll most likely be there but partnerless. That said I'm tempted to bring the puller and spend the weekend breaking stuff instead of climbing, so perhaps the lack of partner won't be a big deal. -a.

I figured that was the case re: actually doing any climbing. No worries though, as its now official that there will be a Lab Roadshow and I'll be spending most of my time breaking stuff on the pull tester. For anyone who's interested I'll also be proof testing gear as a fundraiser-type thing for NRAC at $5 per piece. Anyway, if you see this and are coming down to the NRR bring along any retired gear you wouldn't mind parting with and we'll see how and where it breaks.

WVUCLMBR wrote: My tent has a strictly enforced "No PA climbing bums rule". As far as climbing/partner goes adatesman, we find that we don't really climb much @ rendezvous. Too many people crankin all over the place. We go more for the atmosphere/desert-a-palooza. And stealing gear. (He and his wife apparently got busted stealing gear from the sponsors at the Rendezvous.)
