I just wanted to let everyone know that the fixed line at the bottom of the descent gully to Shortoff was replaced on April 28, 2009. I went climbing there and the University of South Carolina Outdoor Recreation was gracious enough to donate a new section of 11mm static line to replace the current line, which was getting pretty beat up.
